If you're using Customize to config the page - To set up the featured homepage slider you need to do the following steps:

Go to Appearance > Customize > Featured Slider > General > Click enable "Enable Featured Slider"

In "Featured Slider" section, you can see other options which will help you custom sliders as you wanted.

If you're using Elementor or WPBakery Page Builder to config the page, just need to use the element "Penci Featured Slider" to get your slider displays.

Note with Featured Posts Slider: It's important that the posts appearing in your slider should have a featured image assigned to them, and you should use images for featured images with at least 1170px width & 780px height to get best results.

For Penci Slider:

Penci Slider is a custom slider - It's not based on posts. You can select any images/text display on your slider.

If you're using Elementor or WPBakery Page Builder to config your homepage. You can use element Penci Custom Slider to create Penci Slider.

If you're using Customizer to setup the homepage - To config Penci Slider, please make sure you activated plugin Penci Slider

And do following steps to config Penci Slider:

1/ Go to admin page > Penci Slider > Add New a Slide ( or more slides )

2/ Go to Appearance > Customize > Featured Slider > General > on "Featured Slider Style" > select "Penci Slider 1" or "Penci Slider 2"
