Refund Policy

Soledad and related PenciDesign digital products are delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned. This page explains when a refund review may be available, how support is handled first, and where ThemeForest or Envato purchase terms still control the transaction.

Before Requesting a Refund

If you purchased Soledad or a related product and hit a technical issue, contact support first so we can verify the environment, reproduce the problem, and provide a fix or setup guidance where possible.

  • Support-first review applies to installation problems, import issues, license activation questions, and expected theme behavior that may depend on WordPress, plugins, or hosting.
  • Please include your purchase details, website URL when relevant, WordPress version, PHP version, and the steps needed to reproduce the issue.
  • For ThemeForest purchases, item support availability and support terms continue to follow your Envato purchase and support status.

Refunds That May Be Approved

A refund may be considered when the product materially fails to match the live description or cannot reasonably be made to work as promised after support review.

  • The item is materially not as described in the product page, preview, or documented feature set.
  • The item contains a security issue that cannot be patched within an appropriate timeframe.
  • Item support is included or promised for the purchase period but is not provided.
  • The purchase was never downloaded and is still within the applicable refund window.

ThemeForest purchases are also subject to Envato Market refund rules, including the supported versus unsupported purchase windows and any consumer rights that apply in your region.

Refunds That Usually Do Not Apply

Because the products are digital and can be copied after delivery, refunds are generally not available for change-of-mind or environment mismatch requests once the item has been downloaded and delivered as described.

  • You no longer want the item after purchase.
  • The item does not meet a requirement that was not stated in the product page, preview, or documentation.
  • Your server, WordPress setup, third-party plugins, or custom code conflict with the product but the product itself works as described.
  • You purchased the wrong license or no longer need the product after receiving access.

How Reviews Are Handled

Each request is reviewed against the purchase source, support history, download status, and whether the issue can be resolved through an update or documented fix.

  • ThemeForest-origin purchases should normally be handled through the Envato refund workflow when that platform processed the order.
  • Direct checkout or account-linked purchases may be reviewed through the Soledad support and billing channels.
  • Nothing on this page limits any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable law.
